Chicago going Olympics

 

The Polish American Awareness Foundation (PAAF) proudly invi

tes you to contribute to our event ‘Chicago going Olympic’ celebrating sports and the accomplishments of the Polish and American National Teams competing in the Beijing Olympics. The event will take place on Friday, September 19th, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at the green roof garden of Lightology on 215 West Chicago Ave. in Chicago.

 

We have invited Mayor Richard M. Daley as well as Mr. Patrick G. Ryan, Chicago 2016 Chairman and CEO. Moreover, guest will enjoy an exceptional picture presentation of Polish and American athletes from Beijing.

Approximately 300-350 guests will be attending, including Polish and American Golden Medalists from Beijing, local athletes, and representatives from Chicago Fire, Chicago Red Stars, and Chicago Blackhawks. PAAF has also invited distinguished representatives from business, political, and cultural circles.

At the venue, PAAF will host a silent auction, where guests will have an exclusive opportunity to bid on memorabilia autographed by the Beijing Olympians, professional sports players, and other items. A portion of the proce

eds from this event will be directed towards athletic scholarships for talented children and youth whose financial difficulties restrain from participating in athletic activities. Thanks to the generous support of donors and volunteers, we will be able to open the doors of opportunity that will allow these children to pursue their dreams.

PAAF ‘Chicago going Olympic’ will have a great media coverage, both American press (including, but not limited to, NBC 5, FOX, Chicago Social, Chicago Tribune, Sun Times) and Polish press (including, but not limited to, TVN, Polsat, TV Polonia, POLVISION, Radio 1030 AM, Radio 1490 AM).
