The Polish-American Awareness Foundation, Inc (PAAF) announces the hiring of Kamila Jarzabek to the position of International Project Coordinator

The Polish-American Awareness Foundation, Inc hires Kamila Jarzabek as International Project Coordinator to lead PAAF’s international programs and projects

Chicago, IL, February 21, 2008 – the Polish-American Awareness Foundation, Inc, a Chicago based non-profit organization dedicated to working on issues related to Polish-Americans, announces Kamila Jarzabek joining PAAF on the newly created position of International Project Coordinator. Kamila will focus on developing and executing a number of projects involving close cooperation with Poland-based organizations and with Poles living around the world.

Born in Poland, Kamila has been studying and working in the U.S. for the last few years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations with minors in Politics and Business from Lake Forest College. Kamila’s professional experience includes an internship at the Polish American Chamber of Commerce in Chicago where she coordinated and assisted with numerous events.

Kamila’s recent position with the office of Illinois’ Lt. Governor Pat Quinn allowed her to serve as a liaison to the Polish community in Illinois and work together with diverse organizations and groups of interest. “I feel that my enthusiasm for continuous learning and my priceless experience gained at the office of the Lt. Governor have successfully prepared me to become a significant member of PAAF team,” Kamila said. She was warmly welcomed by PAAF. “We are all pleased to have Kamila working with us in this very challenging key leadership position,” said Paul Hardej, President and Co-Founder of PAAF. “We have a great level of confidence in Kamila’s skills and we see her exceptional work ethic as a major benefit to the organization,” Hardej added.
